CASE STUDY

Levy Restaurants is a multi-award-winning hospitality company that operates a wide range of venues, from Michelin-starred restaurants to 100,000 seat stadiums.  Its Chicago restaurants include Spiaggia, Café Spiaggia, Café Brauer, River Roast, Ravinia and Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap. 

OBJECTIVES
Create ongoing programming to amplify awareness and media coverage of the signature restaurants under the Levy umbrella. Each restaurant has a different identity ranging from Michelin-starred, celebrity mecca Spiaggia to the more casual, roasting-focused River Roast to the nationally acclaimed wing spot Jake Melnick’s. 

 

CHALLENGE

Page One was challenged to build trust with the client. The restaurant group had experienced a revolving door of public relations firms before retaining Page One.  

 

SOLUTION

Page One started to build credibility with the client by first succeeding with one restaurant and it was eventually awarded most of the restaurants in the Levy Restaurant portfolio.  The agency has re-introduced hundreds of media partners to Levy Restaurant locations. Tactics have included ongoing programming to keep years-old restaurants fresh, hosting frequent media and influencer events, creating promotions with community partners and coordinating hundreds of FAM (familiarization tours) with visiting national and international media contacts.  

 

WINNING RESULTS
Levy Restaurants locations have been featured in hundreds of media and influencer outlets including Food Network, Today Show, Imbibe, Chicago Tribune, Thrillist, Easter and more. Page One consistently places between 15-30 media placements per month for each restaurant.  To date, Page One is the longest-running public relations agency partner for the restaurant group.
